The WOUDC is operated by the Experimental Studies Section of Environment Canada and is located in Toronto, Ontario. Environment Canada has operated the World Ozone Data Centre (WODC) since the early 1960s. In 1992 ultraviolet radiation data were added to the archive and the WODC was renamed to the World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre (WOUDC).

For information about the Canadian Ozone and UV Program, Instrument Network and data, visit the Experimental Studies Ozone and UV homepage.
